About this Project
This project will pave the main access road serving the Sector Escuela area of Panimacac, Poaquil, benefiting approximately 800 residents (52% women and girls). By replacing the current dirt road with a durable paved surface, the initiative will significantly improve safety, reduce dust, noise, and air pollution, and make year-round access easier for residents, students, emergency services, and visitors. The improved road will enhance connectivity to schools, markets, health services, and neighboring areas, while also supporting local economic activity and social development. This community-led effort directly addresses a long-standing priority and will raise the overall quality of life for the entire population of Panimacac. This project is led by the Junta de Desarrollo Comunitario de Aldea Panimacac a community leadership committee with experience in project management, strong local networks, and deep knowledge of community needs and priorities.
