About this Project

Project Launch: 12-1-25

Ogijo Learning Hub Project will transform an abandoned, dilapidated classroom into a safe, fully equipped adult and community learning center, giving families in Ogijo, Ogun State, their first permanent space for literacy, numeracy, and life skills training. Currently, many adults, especially women, struggle to support their children’s education or improve their livelihoods due to illiteracy and lack of access to learning opportunities. Through this project, the community will renovate the classroom, furnish it with desks, chairs, and a projector, and create digital learning content in English, Yoruba, and Hausa to reach busy parents and out-of-school youth. With strong local support, ranging from volunteer labor to donated materials, the project will provide hundreds of adults and children with the tools to learn, grow, and break cycles of poverty, while ensuring the space remains a long-term hub for community-driven education and opportunity.
