About this Project
This project supports women from the Community Advisors Network in Aldea Chirijuyú, Tecpán, Chimaltenango as they work toward economic independence. Through hands-on training in textiles, event planning, and cooking, women will strengthen practical skills and gain confidence to start or grow small businesses. Participants will receive basic materials, shared workshop spaces, and simple business training on pricing, budgeting, and sales. The project also includes the creation of an online store and a business plan to help sell products and strengthen the Network’s long-term sustainability. By generating their own income, women can improve their well-being and build safer, more independent lives for themselves and their families.
