About this Project

The Business Completion Program is a contextualized and ongoing training initiative aimed at 15 rural women entrepreneurs. Through the program, participants will strengthen their knowledge in business management, finance, and market analysis. In addition, the program includes mentoring sessions and experience systematization processes that will allow them to plan for the growth and consolidation of their businesses. The program consists of three months of continuous training.
The impact of the Business Cultivation Program on the community will be significant at both the individual and community levels, contributing to transforming local economic dynamics and strengthening development opportunities in the Ixil region of El Quiché.
At the individual level, the project will promote the economic empowerment of entrepreneurs, especially women, who will gain access to tools that enable them to make more informed decisions, better manage their resources, and guide their businesses toward more profitable, sustainable models with social and environmental purpose. This personal and business development will translate into increased family income and a tangible improvement in their quality of life. Participants will also develop competitive advantages compared to businesses in other regions, thanks to improvements in their business models, their capacity for innovation, and their enhanced technical preparation.
