The closest town to isolated Pedernales in the Dominican Republic is an hour away. The area is underdeveloped, tourism is limited, and the land is less fertile than in the north. The town of lacks many amenities, notably a playground for kids. A $243 grant from World Connect’s Kids to Kids Program in 2011 supported the utilization of used tires to create a tire park for kids.Explore other Projects
