Afternoons in Huaca Rajada, Peru are filled with sounds of children playing in the streets. With the Youth Going Green project, World Connect’s Kids to Kids Program supported the efforts of these children to learn about their local environment and to create a small arts, crafts and culture club. The club learned to make jewelry for sale, painted a world map mural and met weekly to learn about other countries and cultures, and they learned to cook traditional dishes from the countries they were studying.Explore other Projects
