PIGGERY FARMING
Project Launch: 12-30-21
The project aimed at purchasing 110 pigs for 110 household heads in Nyakayezi cell of Bugesera district who together formed the Abahuje umurimo group. The group will raise the pigs and obtain manure from the pig waste for their gardens so as to improve crop production and also increase their incomes both from the sale of manure and pig offsprings. The group will also pass on the first female piglet to another needy family in the community thereby enrolling more people in the project and more people being reached by the benefits of pi garming.
