Mwumba's Wholesale Business
Project Launch: 10-29-19
Mwumba residents identified improved access to education and the quality of education for their children as their most pressing goal and elected to achieve this via a wholesale business. Participants will use a village grant of $8,000 to build a structure to house their business and stockpile goods to be sold. The grant will also provide start-up capital for their village savings fund. The income generated from sales will be used to pay for quality educators, school fees for the children in Mwumba, and down the road potentially allow them to build a new school in the community.
