In 2008 World Connect’s Kids to Kids program awarded a $X500 grant to launch a Club Glow in Corozal town in Belize. Club Glow provides a place for young girls to make friends, do art project, take educational field trips, and feel safe to discuss whatever they wish. These clubs have demonstrated success in teaching young girls self-reliance, self-expression, and building self-esteem. Club leaders report that following the establishment of the club and running the early stages of programming, all of the participating girls are much more integrated with one another.Explore other Projects
